Municipal Planning and Consulting

Comprehensive Planning and System Modeling Experience

Roth Hill works with a number of regional municipalities, providing a range of full-service engineering support from “City Engineer” to teaming on individual elements of service. By offering a full menu of services, Roth Hill is able to manage all phases of municipal planning projects including the development of Comprehensive Plans, Vulnerability Assessments, Emergency Response Plans, Hazard Mitigation Plans, Land Use Planning, Hydraulic Modeling, and Capital Improvement Plan Management and TIP planning. In addition, Roth Hill also provides Municipal Plan Review services where we routinely review applicants’ development proposals on both residential and commercial construction for consistency with Municipal Codes, Land Use, and Development Regulations.

Roth Hill uses a variety of specialized software to model and analyze our clients’ utility systems. We have modelers with expertise using the updated Cybernet, WaterCAD, H2O Net for water system analysis, and the latest Regional Sewer Model, MOUSE™. Using our detailed models, we can identify system deficiencies and develop cost-effective solutions. An accurate model is an excellent tool for determining any upgrades that are necessary, and to evaluate growth and the impacts of development on the existing system. Our models can be used with geographic information system (GIS) population forecasting data to determine utility system solutions with long-term usage in mind.
