Municipal Support Surveying

On-call Survey Services, City of Redmond

Roth Hill provides survey services for the Public Works and Parks and Recreation Departments including boundary determination for City right-of-way, topographical mapping, and traffic calming projects throughout the City. These services have included determining and monumenting the boundary lines of the City of Redmond Watershed Preserve, an area of 1.25 square miles; topographic mapping of the Sammamish River; and topographic mapping of stream beds to determine storm drainage retention capabilities. Roth Hill also did the topographic mapping for the Peter’s Creek realignment and stream enhancement project. Roth Hill has held this contract since 1997, often meeting 24-hour turnarounds for the City.

Control Survey, City of Kirkland

Control survey was completed with Real-Time Kinematic GPS to establish NAD 83/91 horizontal and NAVD 1988 vertical datum on existing monumentation within the City.

Parks & Recreation Department, City of Bellevue

We have performed services including property, right-of-way, and topographic mapping surveys for a number of City of Bellevue parks. These surveys were conducted to determine the amount of encroachment taking place along city park boundaries. Parks that were surveyed include: Wilburton Hill Park, Keeney Park, Weowna Beach Park, and Forest Hill Park.
